Post Primary PDST advisors have been delivering whole staff support in a range of areas and are available on request.
All post primary schools in the region must apply for this support by downloading the standard application form available on
https://sites.google.com/a/pdst.ie/pdst/expression-of-interest-forms
Following processing of application, we will endeavour to assign an advisor to you to address your needs

Supporting EAL students in your school

PDST invites you to an afternoon to support schools in their work with students from migrant
families. This course will be relevant to school personnel who work with EAL students and/or their families, in particular:
(a) Guidance Counsellors, (b) Home School Liaison personnel, (c) EAL Coordinators
Course content will include: strategies for inclusion, strategies for literacy
development, supporting EAL students and their families and introduction of
the recently published Immigrant Council Toolkit, Pathways to Parental Involvement

Dublin West Education Centre: March 27th (2pm-4pm)
Dates for Kildare and Blackrock centres will issue in due course.
