Wide Minds, a Comenius 3 Network, is one project in the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union. Wide Minds promotes international collaboration as a context for improving digital competence and multilingualism in all learners.
What is the WiMi Network?
One of only 3 Comenius networks to have been funded by the EU Commission from 2008 -2011, WiMi consists of 15 partners representing public authorities, universities and pedagogical institutes, 7 partner schools, and 2 associate partners. What are WiMi’s main aims and objectives?
To act as a forum for innovation and best practice, and to provide heads and teachers with the training, and support mechanisms necessary to develop their use of digital learning and multilingualism in the exciting context of international projects.
