In this workshop, Catherine will present a number of easy-to-follow lesson plans which focus primarily on Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Spring, movement 1. The lesson plans touch on all aspects of the curriculum through a number of fun exercises which allow the children to see the 4 main pictures that the music evokes and match them with their own tuned and untuned instruments. It's also an easy way to explore some of the instruments of the orchestra and those specific to the Baroque period.

There will also be an introduction to how to teach basic music literacy effortlessly and make cross curricular links across many different subjects.

No musical experience is needed for this workshop.
