OLCS Training for Data Approvers

Primary and Post Primary.

The Department of Education, in conjunction with the Education Support Centres Ireland (ESCI), will deliver online training on the Department’s Online Claims System (OLCS) to school users.  

The training is open to all OLCS Data Approvers in schools - especially those who may be new to the role or as a refresher to those who may be in the role for some time. 

The training presentation will be delivered via a Zoom Webinar and will facilitate a Q&A session throughout.  The session is suitable for both Primary & Post Primary schools

The presentation will be an hour and a half duration. The details of the dates of the training and the links to register are below.

NEPS My Friends Youth Training for Post Primary Schools - Online Webinars (EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM)

This anxiety prevention and resilience programme complements the OIDE wellbeing programme. More information can be found on:  www.friendsresilience.org

Facilitator training to teach the programme to students and order materials requires attendance to all three webinars. 

Training is free of charge for teachers.

After training, the cost of the Activity Book per student is currently €10 (based on current exchange rate). The Facilitator Manual for teachers are €12 to €50 (depending on the book format; pdf or printed) which can be purchased from FRIENDS Resilience after training.

This year, the MY FRIENDS YOUTH TRAINING is being offered to schools in our region, with priority for post-primary schools which are new to DEIS in the first instance and then other post-primary schools thereafter.

Teachers wishing to apply for this training should complete an Expression of Interest form (click Register button below).  Closing Date for receipt of Expressions of Interest is 5pm on Friday 17th November 2023

Please Note:  A separate Expression of Interest form must be completed and submitted by each individual teacher wishing to avail of this training.

Following receipt of your expression of interest, all applications will be reviewed by NEPS and you will be contacted in due course to indicate if your teacher/s has/have been allocated place/s.
