This course begins with a definition of Bioethics and the guiding principles around it. We then look at the qualities that we value when choosing a doctor, whether doctors can be prejudiced against certain patients and the grounds on which they can refuse care. We examine DNRs, the right to refuse care, end of life decisions and cost of treatment versus life. The module finishes with cloning and designer babies.
