25AUT91 Get Your STEM Eyes on for Science!

As we look further into the future we need to ask ourselves what is valuable in STEM now and in the future. We will use our STEM Eyes to reflect on STEM around us. I will provide stimulating ideas that reflect the 7 key competencies of the new curriculum. I believe the interconnecting nature of these competencies permeate all areas of STEM and designing key examples will facilitate amazing learning opportunities in the classroom. The importance of ‘STEM Eyes’ in providing an inclusive and diverse approach to teaching will be highlighted in these webinars.

Use our STEM Eyes to identify science in our own environment. Develop and use appropriate scientific language for each class level. Focus on developing problem scientific skills for all children including those with additional needs. Create a bank of science resources and experiments resources to use for different classes.
