As we look further into the future we need to ask ourselves what is valuable in STEM now and in the future. We will use our STEM Eyes to reflect on STEM around us. I will provide stimulating ideas that reflect the 7 key competencies of the new curriculum. I believe the interconnecting nature of these competencies permeate all areas of STEM and designing key examples will facilitate amazing learning opportunities in the classroom. The importance of ‘STEM Eyes’ in providing an inclusive and diverse approach to teaching will be highlighted in these webinars.

Use digital technology to incorporate ‘STEM Eyes’ in the classroom! By applying the ‘Universal Design for Learning’ approach, ideas will be provided for creativity and innovation using online resources. Encourage your students to become confident using plugged and unplugged simple coding activities in the classroom! Various ideas & useful resources/websites will be provided, as well as a link to a STEM padlet.
