Summer Course for Primary School Teachers 2026
This course will be offered again this summer in a face-to-face format. It provides teachers with:
- a clear understanding of CLIL principles
- a practical guidance on implementing effective methodologies
- teaching strategies, and lesson planning.

The CLIL approach supports both content learning and Irish language development, while aligning with the objectives of the Action Plan for Irish in English-medium schools and the languages specification.

Cuirfear an cúrsa seo ar fáil aghaidh ar aghaidh arís an samhradh seo.
Soláthraíonn sé do mhúinteoirí:
- tuiscint shoiléir ar phrionsabail FCÁT
- treoir phraiticiúil maidir le modheolaíochtaí éifeachtacha a chur i bhfeidhm
- straitéisí teagaisc, agus pleanáil ceachtanna.
Tacaíonn cur chuige FCÁT le foghlaim ábhair agus le forbairt na Gaeilge araon, agus é ag teacht le
cuspóirí an Phlean Gnímh don Gaeilge i scoileanna Meán- Bhéarla agus an tsonraíocht teanga.

There is a Centre administration fee of €10.

Before you finalise your booking please note: Where a participant has registered for more than one course, courses may only be completed consecutively rather than concurrently. All our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable. Course Fees are not transferrable to another teacher or course. Unfortunately, if you wish to cancel your place on one of our courses or you are unable to attend the course, we are not in a position to refund fees.
